What Are Proxies

For those who don't know what Proxies are please read this page

Residential Proxies These proxies are often gathered from real IP's, so actual residential owners who may sign up to services to allow companies to use their IPs or inadvertently do through VPNs etc. Thats the first thing to understand, that's why the same providers has different residential speeds, as one residential home may have access to 300mb network speeds others may only have 30mb.

Now all these proxies are gathered in IP pools. All residential providers have their own pool, or have access to a large pool. The issues begins with the pool.

Say me and another use are both using the same company, when we start a task with our proxies, we're both assigned a residential IP from the pool. Now if the pool is big enough, we should both be assigned to completely different IP's. This may seem fine, but theres a few issues with this:

1. We don't know for sure the original holder of the IP (the residential owner) isn't using their IP to login to Nike on another device on their wifi, if they are we already have 2 people logging into Nike with the same IP.

2. We don't know when that IP was last used on Nike by another user, could have been a few minutes before, could have been hours before.

Now say a company sells a lot of proxies and has a tonne of users, you still only have a specific pool size, so thats when multiple users using the proxies could be assigned the same IP from the pool.

All these factors and lately Nike working again for some bots, has increasingly made Residential Proxies troublesome to use. It's what's leading to a lot of passwords being reset, if nike see's one IP logging into a bunch of nike accounts of course it going to reset the password out of security if nothing else.

This doesn't mean Residential proxies don't work, countless of you have wins with them me included, it just means when you use them be prepared for the above issues, or accounts maybe flagged long term.

For a while now i've recommended DC proxies on Nike, we are looking for more providers who have unbanned private DC's for you to use on drops, but that would be my advise right now. Find yourself working DC's use them on drops, the IP's should only be used by you if the providers is good, meaning no IP overlaps like Residential proxies, the speeds will be consistently quick, which should also give you far less issues on uSNKRS.
